Collaboration

Introduction

The Collaboration area gathers the ways you exchange documents with other Lunr users, covering its tabs, what a share is, and where to find shares and requests for information.

Overview

The Collaboration area gathers the ways you exchange documents with other Lunr users. Select Collaboration in the main menu to open it. The page holds a set of tabs, and which tabs you see depends on your organisation's settings: Shares always appears and is the default tab, and RFIs appears when your organisation has requests for information enabled.

A share gives selected Lunr users access to a set of documents. Every recipient must already be a Lunr user. There is no invite-by-email flow, no magic link, and no way for someone without a Lunr account to open a share.

Shares

A share comes in two types, a Secure link or a Transmittal, and carries its own members, documents, and comments. See Shares for the Shares tab, creating and viewing a share, members and permissions, comments, and adding or removing documents.

RFIs

A request for information asks a question against a project and is answered by a named recipient or by whoever picks it up from a group queue. See RFIs for the RFIs tab, the RFI page, and the statuses an RFI moves through.
